At the age of eight, designer Bram Roza secretly watched Dutch horror film De Johnsons. It was the beginning of a lifelong passion for the horror genre.

Twenty-five years later, Bram's love for the film with which it all started is still undiminished. That is why he decided to make a short documentary, which rapidly outgrew the status of an amateur project when LA based filmmaker Yfke van Berckelaer came on board. Together they drew up the turbulent history of one of the few thoroughbred horror films ever made in Dutch.
